Welcome to The Witches’ Yuletide Ball! Come join us on the dance floor for some traditional carols (if you’re shy, try some of George Washington’s infamous eggnog – that will be sure to loosen you up!)

George Washington’s Infamous Eggnog

Words of Warning: Drink in very small moderation… it may smell sweet but it’s sure to knock you on your kiester if you don’t watch out!

1 pint brandy
½ pint rye whiskey
½ pint Jamaican rum
¼ pint sherry wine
12 eggs, separated
12 tbsp sugar
1 qt milk
1 qt heavy cream

      Mix liquor first.
Separate yolks and whites of the eggs.
Add sugar to beaten yolks and mix well.
Add combined liquors to the yolk and sugar mixture, drop by drop at first, slowly beating it all the while.
Beat the egg whites until stiff and gently fold these into the egg/liquor mixture.
Add the milk and then the cream, always beating slowly.
Chill for several hours. Sprinkle with nutmeg before serving for an extra boost of holiday luck!

Happy Yule Everybody!!
